SLOPE NEWS Our home ski slope is at the Oval Sports Centre, Bebington. Although this is relatively small it is well-designed and it has in the past provided an excellent training base to support our regular monthly long-slopes visits to Chill Factore in Manchester.  Over the years many highly qualified instructors, racers and coaches have developed their teaching and practical skills here. Indeed, on one memorable occasion former World Champion skier Franz Klammer skied and taught on the slope!! However, there was insufficient interest shown this year to make the use of it economically viable. At the Club’s AGM  on Wednesday 19th June at Greasby Community Hall, we will welcome views on the best ways of continuing to support and best serve our members’ skiing interests.
