Made with Xara Web Designer FEEDBACK In September our Chairman Liam Hanlon’s daughter, Caitlin (aged 12!) joined her father in swimming across the Mersey. Meanwhile, nephew  Ryan was in Beijing becoming World Champion in the 20-24 Age Group for the Sprint Triathlon.  Numbers attending our monthly Sunday sessions at Chill Factore have continued to grow as the Alpine season approaches, but the slope has  also got a bit more crowded. In contrast a full day coaching course held on Tuesday 29th November gave participants well-groomed snow, no  queues as well as individual guidance & video-analysis. This was advertised by members’ e.mail, rather than on the website. The six places  available were quickly snapped up; the first reservation being received within 12 hours from a member managing a deep-water oil rig off the  coast of Brazil!! All enjoyed themselves, including some very experienced skiers, and felt they’d gained a lot in refreshing and refining their  skiing skills. A great session too just two weeks before Christmas when, despite a packed car-park, the slope was surprisingly quiet. The December talk at ‘Ellie’s’ was also a great social occasion bring together members old and new in a very convivial atmosphere. It was also  helped by having a wide-screen TV playing highlights of the Club’s skiing adventures over the last 30 years. Brillantly edited & put together by  our President, Norman Denison, it combined snow skiing in Austria, France, Scotland & North Wales & gave rise to many Do you remember..’s  and Who was that? ‘s  Expert Tuition on the Glacier at Kaprun John Shedden fascinates his audience
